About Victoria Institute of Health and Allied Sciences
Welcome to Bwima Institute of Health and Allied Sciences (BWIHAS) formerly Victoria Institute of Health and Allied Sciences (VIHAS). The Institute, established since 2015, is located in Ilemela Municipality, Kabangaja Street, Mwanza Region. It is fully registered and accreditated by NACTE with Registration number HAS/151 and recognised by the Ministry of Health, Community development, Elderly and Children.
We currently offer Clinical Medicine at the level of Technician Certificate and Ordinary diploma.
In the very near future the institute has plans to expand the scope of training to other programmes including Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery, Social Work, Medical laboratory and Community Development.
We ensure that our graduates are equiped with the necessary knowledge and skills and that they are competitive in the East African health Industry market.
