About Tabora Institute
Tabora Institute is a private newly established academic center of excellence in Tanzania, which aims to offer entry level courses in medicine, health and social sciences. The center is registered with the National Accreditation Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and will start with issuing courses in Community Health and Clinical Medicine at certificate and diploma levels.
TI was founded by two medical doctors who live in Nzega and is located along the Nzega – Shinyanga Road, at the area known as Uchama, Kwa Kigwangalla. It has high prospects for being the center of excellence of international repute, and soon it is going to be linked with Kigwangalla Medical Center (KMC), which shall be the teaching hospital for students; currently, the center will make use of the nearby district hospital as well as mission hospitals for teaching.
