Standard Seven Results 2022 Mwanza region, PSLE Results 2022 Mwanza – Matokeo ya darasa la saba Mwanza 2022- NECTA has declared the PSLE Results 2022 online. Mwanza Region is one of Tanzania’s 31 administrative regions The regional capital is the city of Mwanza. Mwanza region is home to Ukerewe Island, the largest lake island in Africa as well as Saanane Island National Park, the smallest national park in Tanzania.
The neighbouring regions are Geita to the west, Shinyanga to the south, and Simiyu to the east. Furthermore, Lake Victoria borders the region’s north frontier.

The Mwanza Region is occupied by Four tribes include the Wasukuma, the Wakerewe, Wakara and Wazinza. Mwanza city’s Makongoro Road is named after a prominent Sukuma chief who controlled the area in the late 1800s. Under British rule, the region was one district in the Lake Province, which became the Lake Region after independence. In 1963, the Mwanza Region was created.
The Wasukuma tribe is the major tribe occupying the Mwanza Region, though other regions that are occupied by Wasukuma include the Shinyanga Region, Geita Region and Simiyu region.
Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), This is a selection test which enables the government to select form one entrants for its schools. Students who get selected and those who are not, receive certificates. The Examination Calendar: PSLE is administered in the second week of September every year: The objectives of PSLE: The objectives of PSLE are to assess learner’s skills and knowledge gained in the different subjects at primary school level; to assess learners understanding of the basic skills and abilities in reading, writing and arithmetic and the extent that they can use such skills in solving pertinent problems in life; and identify learners with the capacity to continue with secondary education and other training institutions., Eligibility of Candidates Who Seat for the Examination: Any pupil who have completed standard seven in both government and private schools can be registered and sit for this examination. Examined Subjects/Courses: The examined subjects at PSLE are Hisabati (Mathematics), English Language, Sayansi (Science), Maarifa ya Jamii (Social Studies) and Kiswahili. Examination Formats: Each subject has an examination format, which describes the structure of the examination paper, and the content in which that particular examination covers.
