About Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences
Welcome to Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences – an institution organized under the Free Pentecostal Church Tanzania (FPCT). The institute is dedicated to developing dynamic and entrepreneurial health workers who will engage and realize their full potential and that of their community, their country and the world at large. The institute offers students a healthy balance between social and academic activities including lectures, discussions, research and presentations, social welfare, cultural and sporting activities.
Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences has the status of full accreditation by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE). NIHS has three (3) established departments namely:-
Nursing Department offering Basic Technician Certificate in Community Health, Pre-Service and In-Service Diploma in Nursing.
Clinical Medicine Department offering Technician Certificate, Pre-Service Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
Medical Laboratory offering Pre-Service and In-Service Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
