About Ilembula Institute of Health and Allied Sciences
The Ilembula Institute of Health and Allied Sciences, commonly referred to as Chuo cha afya Ilembula,
The School is fully registered by the National Council for TechnicalEducation as a health training institute, owned and run by the Southern Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania.
Ilembula School of Nursing is situated in Southern part of Tanzania. The School offers Diploma NTA level 4 to NTA Level 6 programme in the field of nursing.
The School was inaugurated in January 1963 and is adjacent to the Ilembula Lutheran Hospital. From November 2003, the School started offering a Diploma in Nursing Course for both female and male Students.
