The University of Dar es Salaam, UDOM admission application form is open to all qualified applicants irrespective of colour, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender or national origin.
Interested candidate may apply to any of the University of Dar es Salaam Undergraduate, postgraduate, masters, diploma, doctorate, bachelor’s, pre-masters, distant learning, International, MBA, Ph.D. programs (Courses) at any time and be admitted subject to fulfilling UDOM admission requirements 2022/2023.

UDOM Online application 2022/2023 – How to Apply Online
University of Dar es Salaam UDOM Online application 2022/2023: The University of Dar es Salaam (UDOM) uses online application system (OAS) to receive and process applications for admission in to various UDOM programmes. The UDOM online application System is linked with Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) admission system, National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for degrees, certificates and Diploma verification.
UDOM Online application is an online database system created and designed by UDOM IT department that automate the collection, tabulation and reporting of applicant information to simplify college admission and application process at UDOM. The Online application system requires the user/Applicant to have a computer that is connected to the internet enable the user/applicant to access the online application System and make application instantly.

NEW APPLICANTS
Stage 1: Registration for an admission account:
Register for an account in our system through the button (REGISTRATION) at the UNDERGRADUATE tab
Note: to register for an account in the admission system you will need to supply the following details:
- First name
- Surname
- Email Address
- Mobile Telephone Number
- To finalize registration, you will need to put in a password of your choice that you will use whenever you wish to log into the admission system.
- And lastly fill in the characters captcha as will be shown in the page, i.e. Captcha then click register button at the bottom to register for an account.
If you are successfully registered, then the system will send an email to your email address, please log into your email account to activate your admission account.
Use the link sent into your email to log into our Admission system.
Note: at this stage. Your username is: your email address
Your Password is: the password you supplied
Stage 2: make application:
- When you are successfully logged into your account you will find notification that your account is successfully activated (please open the notification)
- Click at My Application button to start application
- You will be presented with four [4] steps to finish the application
Step 1: MY PROFILE
- Chose application category:
- Write names as they appear in your secondary certificates
- sex, Country of Citizenship and Disability Type if any
Step 2: APPLICATION FEE PAYMENT
Non-refundable Application Fees are :
- Local Students: 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand only) for bachelor degrees
- Local Students: 20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand only) for Diploma and Certificate Programmes
- Foreign Students USD. 45.00 (forty five US Dollar only)
UDOM APPLICATION FEE PAYMENT
Use the reference number shown to pay the application fee by using mobile money services ie. Mpesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money for Local Students. Foreign Students application fee is payable using the SWIFT code: NLCBTZTX through A/C Number: 012105005554, University of Dar es Salaam, NBC Bank, Samora Branch.
Payment procedures of application fee for local students using mobile money services are detailed below:

- Open your mpesa by dialing *150*00#
- Then choose 4: Pay by M-Pesa (Lipa kwa Mpesa)
- Then choose 5: Government Payment (Malipo ya Serikali)
- Then choose 1: Reference Number (Weka namba ya kumbukumbu)

Step #6: The course selection feature will only be visible for filling once the application fee is paid, carefully select your courses and submit your completed application: In order to successfully complete the application; the applicant is required to complete all steps from “HOME” to ”SUBMIT” your application.
