About The Arusha East African Training Institute – Arusha
The Arusha East African Training Institute (TAEATI) is an academic institution which established in 2001 aimed at prepares young people from Tanzania and other neighbouring East African Countries who will transform their poor communities and build a prosperous sustainable society.
It is the non government educational institute focused in providing excellent training in various fields meanwhile has embraced and invested in Journalism and Media studies as its core area of training and research. TAEATI before was known as the East African Training Institute with Gov. Registration No.216316, for the long period of time the Institution has been the member of the Media Council of Tanzania (MCT), later on got provisional registration on 31st day of December 2013 with REG/BTP/006P and had its full NACTE registration on 10th day of February 2017 with registration number, REG/BTP/006.
The Institute is located at Phillips Junction, Opposite Total Filling Station in Arusha City. It lies 60m off the Arusha- Moshi road. As part of Tanzania northern zone, Arusha can be reached from other parts of Tanzania and East Africa by highways and air. TAEATI serves all citizens and foreigners who have completed form four with at least FOUR PASSES in Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE), including English, OR applicants with relevant NVA level 3 qualifications and a Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) in non-religious subjects AND form six is two principal passes (Two Ds) with a total of 2.0 points in non-religious subjects.
TAEATI has recruited professional and experienced academic staff and supporting staff, improved training facilities, teaching and learning processes as well as preparing proper studying environment to provide best training.
Language and computer training is a part of studies for students in our programmes we offer and since learning at this level in the 21st century, is no longer driven by the teacher, therefore TAEATI insists ICT Systems especially the uses of internet and E-Learning.
