The Teofilo Kisanji University (TEKU) was established in 2006 and is a fully registered private higher learning institution with the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU). It is owned by the Moravian Church in Tanzania under the Board of Trustees as provided in University Charter and Trust Rules in accordance with the Universities Act No.7,2005.It is situated in South- Western Tanzania in Mbeya City. The University is located at BLOCK T along Tanzania- Zambia highway about 500 meters from the main road

The following policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programmes at the Teofilo Kisanji University. The Institute reserves the right to change fees withTEKU prior notice. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council and we will update it ASAP.
TEKU Undergraduate Fees
At the beginning of the academic year, all students will be required to produce evidence of sponsorship by the Government or any other organizations, otherwise, they will be expected to pay full tuition and University fees (or the portion not covered by the sponsor) by the beginning of the term/semester before they can be permitted to use the University facilities.
All local payments for fees should be by Bankers Cheques payable to the Bursar, Teofilo Kisanji University or by other acceptable modes with approval of the Bursar. All payments must be receipted. The following Table depicts Tuition Fees for Tanzanian and Non-Tanzanian Nationals:
