Mara Region is one of Tanzania’s 31 administrative regions. The regional capital is the municipality of Musoma. Mara region is known for being the home of Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and also the birth place of Tanzania’s founding father Julius Nyerere. According to the 2012 national census, the region had a population of 1,743,830, which was lower than the pre-census projection of 1,963,460. For 2002–2012, the region’s 2.5 percent average annual population growth rate was the thirteenth highest in the country. It was also the twelfth most densely populated region with 80 people per square kilometer.
The neighboring regions are Mwanza Region and Simiyu Region (to the south), Arusha Region (to the southeast), and Kagera Region (across Lake Victoria). the Mara Region borders Narok County and Migori County in Kenya (to the northeast). The Mara Region is the home of Tanzania’s first president, Julius Nyerere. The Mara Region was also the birthplace of Benga music.

How to Check For MARA Form Five Selection 2023? Once ready!
- Visit the official TAMISEMI website at www.tamisemi.go.tz.
- On the TAMISEMI home page, look for the ‘announcement’/”MATANGAZO” tab.
- Look for NEWS about the form five selection for 2022/2023.
- When you select the MARA region, the system will display the MARA District Councils.
- Choose the District Council where you studied and completed your secondary school.
- When you click the name of your secondary school, a list of selected pupils will appear.
- Verify your name in a comprehensive list and the school you have chosen.
How was the TAMISEMI Form Five Selection 2023 held?
Students who passed their final examinations of the Certificate of Secondary Educationa Examinations (CSEE) from Divisions one to three can choose to join Form Five if they chose to join the advanced level during the fill selform, where students could choose to join Form Five to Form Six or join with colleges based on their performance in Form Examination Results 2022, which were released by the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) in January 2022.
