About Bukumbi School of Nursing
Bukumbi School of Nursing is one of the Faith based Organization owned by the ArchBishop Of the ArchDiocese Mwanza and it is operating under the Health Department of the ArchDiocese of Mwanza with executive Health Secretary whom we are responsible to. It started by providing Four years nursing and midwifery programme in 2005. The period of training was cut down to three years. Currently since 2007 it provides two year program which leads to an award of a certificate in midwifery and nursing. Since the school started nurses & midwives have graduated and they have been employed inside and outside of Tanzania.
